Nser versus AcornChat

Nser is a dedicated and straightforward chatbot service specializing in questions and answers through the widget. If the question can not be answered directly visitors can request an email or push notification.

There are only 2 plans, free and paid. The free plan is limited to 20 answers per month.

Acorn Chat is a dedicated Live Chat for Slack integration, intended for companies with fewer than 15 employees. Acorn Chat does not have its own dashboard as all conversations are managed in your Slack workspace. If you are already a Slack power user this might be a perfect fit for you.

The app is straightforward and has one other functionality than routing all messages through Slack; you can enable the email capture function when you are not online to answer any incoming queries. Set up the chat widget and create a dedicated channel or select an existing one in Slack. A new thread is then created for each visitor that contacts you, providing you a clear overview.

Acorn Chat has a single plan with a limitation of 500 conversations per month. You can install the widget on as many sites as you want for an unlimited number of users (theoretically).
