Chatra Acquired by Sendinblue

Sendinblue, an email marketing company, announced in a press release that it has recently acquired not one, not two, but three companies in one month. The total sum was about 40 million euros, paying an average of 13 million euros per company.

The companies included in the acquisition are: Chatra, Metrilo, and PushOwl.

Sendinblue requires the products of said companies to grow and offer their customer base indispensable tools for the future of e-commerce.

The acquisition makes a lot of sense when looking at Sendinblue’s competition, such as e-commerce email providers Klaviyo, Drip or Hubspot, who already offer a range of additional services to help their customers get the most out of their mailing lists. Having these three companies under their umbrella will certainly improve Sendinblue’s market position for the foreseeable future.
